Indian E-Passport advantages

How Indian Passport Became Stronger:

Indians are traveling abroad very frequently for various purposes i.e. education, job, business, tour, etc. Thus the foreign governments realized the spending power of Indians and decided to offer smooth entry to their countries without any visa or visa-on-arrival process. So it leads to the increase in Passport Index Global Rank.

And this development of the Passport rank index is mainly due to two reasons. One is India is welcoming foreign tourists in a huge number in the last 5 years. The other is foreign countries are allowing Indian travelers without any suspicion.

Thus India ranks high above other countries I.e. Bhutan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Egypt, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Procedure for applying for an online passport:

At present, passport applied online are not E-Passports. To get your passport in just 3 steps, follow the steps below:

  • Fill the online passport application form with relevant details and documents
  • Fix an appointment in the nearby Passport Seva Kendra or Post-Office Passport Seva Kendra. Complete the biometric process by submitting the supporting documents.
  • Once the verification is successful in the Passport office, your application is processed further for Police verification.

In the Police verification, you can submit the same set of documents that you have given in the Passport office. If the Police verification is also successful, then you get your passport in hand.
